A House Manager is responsible for running a household. They will oversee the smooth running of the property on the owner's behalf, taking care of security and housekeeping, ordering supplies and managing the budget. A House Manager can be particularly useful for households where the principals are absent for a significant amount of time. House Managers will also work alongside the principals when they are in residence.
The House Manager role will often include taking responsibility for other household staff, who will report directly to the House Manager.
