An Estate Manager takes overall responsibility for the running of a property, managing the buildings, gardens, grounds and other facilities. The nature of an Estate Manager's role will vary considerably depending on the type of property where they work. An Estate Manager may be responsible for maintaining formal gardens, organising the repair of buildings and managing shooting, hunting, fishing and other activities taking place on the estate. An Estate Manager may also supervise other staff working on the estate. An Estate Manager can work as part of a domestic couple team.
