Nannies

A Nanny is responsible for all aspects of childcare and nurturing. A Nanny's duties can include all of the following: organised play, arranging play dates, taking charge of children's laundry and iorning, tidying the childrens' wardrobes and cooking for the children.

A Nanny may have a formal qualification in childcare, such as a CACHE, DCE or NNEB diploma. Other Nannies have built up their skills over years of experience working with children.

Levels of experience among Nannies vary greatly. SLM Recruitment requires all its Nanny candidates to have a minimum of two years' experience, or alternatively to have a recognised qualification and one year's experience.

Salaries
Salaries vary depending on experience and qualifications. The following is a guideline.

Live-in nanny salaries typically range from £300-£400+ net per week. Live-out nanny salaries range from £400-£500+ net per week.
