This is a guideline of a CV layout for candidates applying for Nanny vacancies. You should include the following information in this order.

First and Last Name
Address and postcode
Telephone number and email address

Personal Information
Nationality:
CRB check: Yes or will apply
Driver: Yes or No

Objective
Here you can let the families know what age group of children you are experienced with and what age and number of children you would like to work with.

Educational Background
In this area you should put your full educational history covering school, college and university. Please ensure that if you have undertaken a degree that you name the university and type of degree achieved together with the years you studied for this.

Relevant Qualifications
This is where you can put any childcare qualifications you may e.g. NNEB, CACHE, or similar. You can also put the dates that you took your first aid course with expiry date.

Work Experience

(You should list your current or most recent job first, and work backwards from there.)
- Family Name
- Full or part time Nanny
- Month and year started and month and year finished
- You should briefly describe your role and the duties involved. Please ensure that you have put the ages of the children at the start of employment details so that perspective employers can see at a glance the ages you are experienced with.
- Reason for Leaving: One line on why you are leaving your current employment.

Repeat the above information for each of your previous jobs.
